Blast at Hezbollah's Secret Headquarters Under Building Materials Factory Near UNIFIL Base

Israeli army spokesperson Ella Wa'awiye said forces destroyed an underground route used as a Hezbollah headquarters under a building materials factory near a UNIFIL base in southern Lebanon.

Israeli army spokesperson Ella Wa'awiye wrote on platform 'X': "The combat team forces of the 401st Brigade, led by the 91st Division, continue to operate in the security zone in southern Lebanon to remove threats against Israel. During the activity in the village of Hadata within the security zone, forces of the 601st Battalion and the Yahalom unit destroyed an underground route that was used as a Hezbollah headquarters."

She added: "The route was about 55 meters long and included three rooms for dwelling. This route was built under a building materials production factory, about 300 meters from a building belonging to UNIFIL forces. The forces also found an underground tunnel opening in the vicinity of the route, containing dozens of combat means."

She concluded: "The Israeli army will continue to work to remove any threat against its forces, and will not allow Hezbollah to harm Israeli citizens."
