Iran Threatens Response Following Israeli Attacks on Beirut Suburb
Iran's chief negotiator and a military official warned of consequences after Israeli strikes on Beirut's southern suburb.

Following Israeli attacks on the southern suburb of Beirut, Iran's chief negotiator, Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf, stated that "Israel's attack on the suburb once again reveals America's unwillingness or inability to fulfill its commitments."
Qalibaf emphasized on his X account that "if you cannot fulfill your commitments, it is impossible to talk about continuing the negotiation process," adding that "the continuation of the negotiation path depends on Washington's implementation of its obligations."
In a related development, Iranian media reported that the deputy commander of Iran's joint military command declared that "Israeli crimes in Lebanon will not go unanswered."
