The Israeli army spokesperson, Ella Wa'awiya, reported that in recent days, the combat team of the Givati Brigade, under the command of the 36th Division, carried out an operation aimed at establishing operational control and clearing the areas of the eastern and western towns of Zoutar. This effort is part of the division’s initiative to strengthen operational control in southern Lebanon and eliminate direct threats to the Galilee Panhandle and Metulla.

She stated that the forces crossed the Litani River and conducted focused raids against Hezbollah's infrastructure in the area. During these operations, combat equipment was discovered and destroyed, and personnel in the region were targeted. To date, more than 100 airstrikes have been executed with air force support, resulting in the elimination of approximately 20 militants. Additionally, hundreds of pieces of combat equipment were found inside civilian homes in the area. The Israeli army will continue its efforts to remove any threats against Israel.

Wa'awiya accompanied her statement on the X platform with the attached footage.
