Israeli Army Orders Evacuation in Ain Arab, Marjeyoun Amid Tensions
Ain Arab town in Marjeyoun experiences tension after Israeli forces demand residents evacuate by 5 p.m., threatening action if ignored.

The town of Ain Arab in the Marjeyoun district is currently marked by a state of apprehension and alertness following the arrival of an Israeli patrol at the town’s western entrance near Al-Wazzani. The patrol instructed the town’s mukhtar to inform residents that they must leave the area before 5 p.m. today, warning that failure to comply would result in the town being targeted.
Meanwhile, the Lebanese army is engaged in communications and monitoring the situation on the ground. It is also in the process of notifying residents about the decisions it will make in response to these threats.
Earlier this morning, residents of Ain Arab returned to their homes after the Lebanese army reopened the road leading to the town. This followed the removal of earth barriers that had been obstructing access and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the area.
