A bus carrying Lebanese pilgrims to Umrah overturned on the Daraa road in Syria, resulting in multiple deaths and injuries, according to MP Ashraf Rifi.
MP Ashraf Rifi posted on his Axios platform account an urgent humanitarian appeal regarding a severe traffic accident on the Daraa road in Syria.
The incident involved a bus transporting Lebanese nationals who were traveling to perform the Umrah pilgrimage. The bus overturned, causing numerous fatalities and injuries.
Following the accident, some survivors contacted MP Rifi, urging immediate intervention and requesting that the relevant authorities in both Lebanon and Syria act swiftly to provide assistance and rescue efforts.
