Lebanese Interior Minister Discusses Security Cooperation with EU Delegation
Lebanese Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmed al-Hajjar met with the EU delegation’s acting head of mission Sami Saadi and political section chief Alexander Jolly to discuss ongoing security cooperation and support for Lebanese security and military institutions.

Lebanese Interior and Municipalities Minister Ahmed al-Hajjar hosted a meeting in his office with Sami Saadi, Acting Head of Mission of the European Union Delegation to Lebanon, and Alexander Jolly, Head of the Political Section at the delegation.
The discussion focused on existing cooperation between Lebanon and the European Union, particularly in security-related domains.
EU Support for Lebanese Security Institutions
Attendees reviewed the forms of assistance provided by the European Union to Lebanese security and military bodies, with specific emphasis on the Lebanese Armed Forces and the security agencies operating under the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities.
They also examined avenues to further develop and strengthen that support.
In a separate meeting, al-Hajjar received MP Adeeb Abdel Massih to discuss general conditions in the country.
