Lebanese Judiciary Investigates Exceptional Decisions to Import Generic Drugs Since 2018

The Prosecutor General, Judge Ahmad Rami Al-Hajj, tasked the Central Criminal Investigation Division with sending a letter to the Ministry of Health requesting the submission of a list of all bio-similar medications since 2018, particularly those introduced under exceptional decisions by Ministers of Health. The request also includes the submission of technical committee decisions and analyses conducted on confiscated medications.
