Lebanese University and Hospital Syndicate Sign Agreement to Train and Employ Health Students
The Lebanese University’s Faculty of Health and the Syndicate of Hospital Owners signed a cooperation agreement to train and provide employment opportunities for health students across Lebanon.

The Faculty of Health at the Lebanese University and the Syndicate of Hospital Owners in Lebanon have formalized a cooperation agreement aimed at enhancing the skills of students and graduates from the faculty. This agreement seeks to offer practical training and professional qualification opportunities to improve their employment prospects within healthcare institutions throughout Lebanon.
The agreement was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Health, Elie Hadchiti, and the Syndicate’s head, Pierre Yard, under the patronage and presence of the Lebanese University President, Bassam Badran. Also attending were Member of Parliament Wael Abu Faour from the Democratic Gathering bloc, Director of the Faculty of Health in Rashaya, Ihsan Ayoub, Director of the Faculty of Health in Ain Wzein, Hikmat Akoum, along with several deans and academics.
MP Wael Abu Faour stated, “We initiated this idea at the Faculty of Health in the Kamal Jumblatt Complex in Rashaya, and it has now evolved into a larger project crowned by the signing of this agreement between the Faculty of Health at the Lebanese University across all its branches and the Syndicate of Private Hospital Owners. The agreement focuses on training graduates from the faculty, developing their skills, and securing job opportunities for them.” He affirmed, “We will continue to work to provide all possible opportunities for students from the Lebanese University branches in Rashaya and all regions to enhance their future,” expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed to and supported the initiative.
The agreement marks the beginning of a new phase of targeted collaboration to prepare qualified healthcare personnel equipped with the scientific and practical skills required by the health sector. It aligns with labor market demands, aims to elevate healthcare service standards, and strengthens the integration of Faculty of Health graduates into healthcare institutions immediately after graduation.
