Lebanon's Internal Security Forces Confiscate 880 Motorbikes and 58 Cars in Beirut
The Internal Security Forces in Beirut seized 880 motorbikes and 58 cars, issuing 4,528 violation tickets between June 24 and July 1, 2026.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division issued the following statement:
Following the decision by Minister of Interior and Municipalities Ahmed Al-Hajjar to strengthen measures against motorbike violations in Beirut and to combat the infractions and abuses committed by their riders that pose risks to themselves and public safety, the Beirut Traffic Company within the Beirut Police Unit conducted a campaign to enforce these regulations across the capital.
This operation included the establishment of temporary and permanent checkpoints and resulted in the seizure of 880 motorbikes and 58 violating cars, alongside the issuance of 4,528 violation reports during the period from 24-06-2026 to 01-07-2026.
The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces confirms its ongoing commitment to enforcing violations and urges citizens to regularize the legal status of their vehicles and adhere to applicable laws and regulations to maintain public safety.
