Minister Issa Al-Khoury Discusses Strengthening Lebanon-Venezuela Ties with Venezuelan Ambassador
Minister Issa Al-Khoury met with Venezuela's ambassador to Lebanon to discuss enhancing trade and industrial cooperation and maintaining active ties with the Lebanese community in Venezuela.

Minister of Industry Joe Issa Al-Khoury held a meeting with José Gregorio Piumorgi, the Venezuelan ambassador to Lebanon, at the ministry to explore ways to strengthen commercial and industrial cooperation between Lebanon and Venezuela. The discussions also covered the bilateral relations between the two countries.
During the meeting, Issa Al-Khoury extended his condolences to the ambassador for the victims of the earthquake that struck Venezuela, expressing his hope that the country would overcome this ordeal and its losses.
The ambassador informed the minister that the Lebanese community in Venezuela numbers approximately half a million people. He described this community as well integrated into the local environment and society, with its members engaged in various activities and contributing to the country's development across multiple sectors.
Both the minister and the ambassador agreed on the importance of activating the Lebanese diaspora's role in maintaining strong ties with their homeland. They emphasized building bridges for economic, industrial, and social interaction to keep the connections between the expatriate community and Lebanon active and dynamic.
