Minister Rassamni Meets Syrian Acting Ambassador to Discuss Cooperation Enhancement

Minister of Public Works and Transport Faiz Rassamni convened a meeting at her office with Iyad Al-Hazzaa, the Acting Ambassador of Syria to Lebanon. The session was attended by Dr. Ahmad Tamer, the General Director of Land and Maritime Transport and the Director of Tripoli Port. The discussions focused on ways to reinforce Lebanese-Syrian relations and advance joint cooperation mechanisms, particularly in transport and economic integration between the two countries.

The meeting addressed the strategic vision for bilateral cooperation aimed at aligning with the interests of both nations and enhancing coordination in land and air transport sectors, border crossings, and civil aviation.

Minister Rassamni also received the Greek Ambassador to Lebanon, Despina Kokolopoulou, during a protocol visit. They discussed current developments in Lebanon and the region, as well as bilateral relations across various fields, especially those related to the ministry’s work and responsibilities.

Separately, Minister Rassamni met with Members of Parliament Mohammad Suleiman, Walid Al-Ba’rini, and Ghada Ayoub to discuss developmental issues and regional demands.
