It was noted that the current number of displaced persons to Shia towns in the Jbeil district and the foothills of Keserwan is less than their number after the first displacement resulting from the Gaza support war, because the residents were cautious about receiving large numbers to ensure their safety and good relations with the surroundings in light of previous experiences.

Following the inclusion of 21 Lebanese individuals and 5 entities affiliated with "Hezbollah" by the United Arab Emirates on terrorism lists, Gulf and Arab countries have also begun intensifying financial and security scrutiny procedures against a number of Shia Lebanese residing in their territories.
