Wrote Prime Minister Najib Mikati via "X": "I know the depth of the national wound that still bleeds, and I understand the magnitude of pain carried by the families of the martyrs and victims. But I repeat, on the sixth anniversary of the August 4 explosion: no compromise at the expense of justice... even if it sometimes delays. Only the truth alone is capable of healing this great national wound. And let no one doubt that there is no immunity for any official, regardless of their position, in the Beirut port explosion file or any other file. Accountability will not exclude anyone."

And added Mikati: "Despite the tragedy of August 4, let us also remember August 5; the day Beirut rose with its people, with Lebanon's young women and men who rallied from all regions, clearing rubble, supporting one another, and restoring hope to the city. Let August 4 remain a day for truth, justice, and accountability, and let August 5 be a day for Beirut, for rising up, for solidarity, and for unity among Lebanese."
