Saudi Arabia Announces Resumption of Lebanese Exports
Saudi Arabia has decided to resume imports from Lebanon following positive steps by the Lebanese government and requests from its leadership.

On Wednesday, His Highness Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a phone call with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam. During the call, he conveyed directives from His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to resume Lebanese exports to the Kingdom.
This decision followed requests from Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Prime Minister Nawaf Salam, and was based on the positive measures taken by the Lebanese government toward rebuilding state institutions, the achievements of specialized teams throughout the past year, and the cooperation and commitments provided by the Lebanese side.
During the conversation, the Minister of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom's support for Lebanon's stability, sovereignty over its entire territory, and the welfare of its brotherly people. He also expressed confidence that the Lebanese leadership would take all necessary measures to prevent Lebanon from being used as a platform to harm its neighbors.
