Sealed Warehouses with Red Wax... and Confiscation of Generators!

Issued by the General Directorate of State Security - Department of Media, Guidance, and Public Relations:

"As part of its intensive efforts in the North Governorate to combat violations affecting citizens' economic and public health security, the Northern Regional Directorate of State Security carried out several measures. Its patrols, supported by inspectors from the Ministries of Health and Economy, conducted inspections at five warehouses belonging to the company (Z.H. & Partners) for grains and food products, located in the Shkak area – Batroun.

It was found that the warehouses did not meet the required health standards for storing and preserving food products, and that a portion of the grains were in a deteriorated condition and unfit for consumption.

Based on a directive from the competent judiciary, the warehouses were sealed with red wax, and legal procedures were initiated against their owners.

Additionally, following a directive from the North's Public Prosecution Appellate Office, patrols from the Northern Regional Directorate confiscated 11 electrical generators on behalf of municipalities, due to non-compliance with the official tariff issued by the Ministry of Energy, as well as violations related to feeding hours. The generators seized included: (M.M.) in Qalamoun, (A.Z.) and (K.S.) on Avenue de l'Autostade – Qalamoun, (A.N.) on North Haven Street – Qalamoun, (R.F.) in the Abi Samra district – Tripoli, (M.F.) on Al-Hikla Street – Ras al-Masqa, (A.A.) in the An-Nakhlah district, (M.K.) in Beddawi, (E.K.) in Wadi an-Nahil – Beddawi, (S.A.) in Tannak Quarter – Beddawi, and (A.A.) in Al-Qurhani – Beddawi.

Detailed violation reports were drawn up against the offenders, and legal action was taken against them based on a directive from the competent judiciary."
