Teams from the Economic Authority in the south are working to reopen fuel stations that had been closed despite having gasoline and diesel fuel stored in their tanks. These closures were due to violations including monopolistic practices and failure to adhere to official pricing. The operations are taking place in the areas of Tyre, Al-Bass, Burj Rahal, Roum, Anan, and Jezzine.
In addition, ongoing follow-ups are conducted with fuel distribution companies to verify that the entire quantity of fuel received has been distributed in accordance with legal procedures.
