Speaker Berri Discusses Lebanon Developments with Iranian Parliament Chief
Speaker Nabih Berri received a call from Iran's parliamentary leader to discuss Lebanon's situation amid Israeli aggression and displacement policies.

Speaker of the Parliament Nabih Berri held a phone conversation with Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Parliament, during which they discussed recent developments in Lebanon. The discussion focused on Israel's intensified aggression accompanied by policies of mass and forced displacement targeting residents of southern Lebanon and the southern suburbs of Beirut, as well as measures to halt the ongoing attacks.
Berri praised the positions and efforts of the Islamic Republic of Iran, highlighting its insistence that ending the war and aggression against Lebanon must be the primary and fundamental item in any agreement aimed at concluding the conflict and restoring stability to the region.
Additionally, Berri sent a congratulatory message to Ousmane Sonko on his election as Speaker of the Senegalese Parliament.
Separately, Speaker Berri received at the Second Presidency headquarters the Beirut Engineers Syndicate head Fadi Hanna and the Tripoli Engineers Syndicate head Shawki Fatfat, where they reviewed general conditions and syndicate-related matters.
Berri also met with Major General Mohammad Khair, the former head of the Supreme Relief Commission.
