Statement from Dar al-Fatwa Sets the Date for Eid al-Adha

Dar al-Fatwa in the Lebanese Republic announced that "the Day of Arafah, the ninth of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah 1447 AH, falls on Tuesday, the twenty-sixth of the current month of May 2026 AD, and that the blessed Eid al-Adha will be on Wednesday, the tenth of the month of Dhu al-Hijjah for the year 1447 AH, corresponding to the twenty-seventh of the current month of May 2026".

It added: "And Dar al-Fatwa, while congratulating the pilgrims of the Sacred House of God, wishes them an accepted pilgrimage, a commendable effort, and a forgiven sin, and congratulates Muslims in general on this blessed Eid, and asks God Almighty to bring it back to them and to all Lebanese with all goodness, security, peace, and stability".
