American sources revealed to mtv that Washington informed Speaker Nabih Berri that he is not personally immune from being placed on the sanctions list after describing his positions and stance as disappointing.

The sources added that Washington has become more stringent towards forces allied with Hezbollah and considers that any progress in the political path is linked to stopping the party's attacks.
