What is the truth about the strike in driving schools?

The head of the Syndicate of Driving Schools in Lebanon, Hussein Haidar, clarified that what is being circulated regarding the call for a strike is baseless, emphasizing that "no strike has been called as rumored."

Haidar pointed out, in a statement, that "a number of driving schools are still in the stage of completing logistical preparations," noting that these schools will be ready within a short period to receive citizens normally, adding: "On the other hand, there are schools that are fully ready and capable of receiving the required number of citizens, subjecting them to practical and oral training according to the approved legal frameworks."

The syndicate concluded by affirming its "full commitment to the decision of the Minister of Interior and Municipalities regarding the regulation of driving school fees in schools for driving vehicles and machinery," stressing "its keenness on the proper implementation of the decision to ensure the interest of citizens and the sector."
