The Ministry of Interior and Municipalities has announced the temporary opening of the Bint Jbeil civil registry office in Saida's municipal building due to ongoing Israeli attacks in the south, ensuring continued services for citizens.
The Ministry of Interior and Municipalities – General Directorate of Personal Status announced that "in light of the ongoing Israeli attacks in the south, and in order to secure citizens' interests and facilitate the processing of their transactions, the necessary measures have been taken to temporarily open the Bint Jbeil Civil Registry Office, located at the Saida Municipal Building as an alternative and temporary center, effective Thursday, 17/9/2026."
This measure aims to ensure continuity of operations and processing of transactions and registration data requests from citizens under the jurisdiction of the Bint Jbeil Civil Registry Office, according to available documents and resources, as stated in a ministry bulletin.
