A television series titled Growing Up Dion will dramatize the early years of Celine Dion’s life with her family, approved and produced by her relatives.

The television project Growing Up Dion is set to dramatize the early life of Celine Dion, focusing on her upbringing within a large, music-oriented family in Quebec. The series has received approval from Dion’s family, with her brother Jacques Dion serving as producer.
Diamant Rouge Entertainment, based in Los Angeles, is developing the show that will portray the singer’s formative years and ascent in the music industry. The series draws inspiration from the book Dion, A Family Saga, authored by Dion’s nephew, Jimmy.
Zoë Green, known for her work on Sirens and Carnival Row, has been appointed as the showrunner, although casting details for the role of Dion have not yet been disclosed. The narrative will highlight Dion’s childhood experiences, her close bond with her mother, and interactions with her 14 siblings.
Jacques Dion described the series as deeply significant for their family, stating, “This series represents something deeply meaningful for our family, as it captures the spirit, struggles, and love that defined our upbringing. We are proud to finally share this story with the world in a way that feels true to who we are.”
Celine Dion, aged 58, has been managing Stiff Person Syndrome but has reportedly regained her health recently. She is scheduled to return to the stage later this year in Paris, marking her first headlining concert since her comeback at the 2024 Olympics.
