Sarah Netanyahu, wife of the Israeli Prime Minister, caused a disturbance for security personnel after she shouted near the Prime Minister's office in western Jerusalem due to the delay of her government car driver.

According to the newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, Sarah attempted to avoid the delay by taking a taxi, but her security team prevented her from doing so because it conflicted with security protocols.

The newspaper cited eyewitnesses who heard Sarah Netanyahu shouting on the phone on Gaza Street near the Prime Minister's office. The witnesses noted that her shouting was related to the delay of her driver while she was standing in the street.

Israeli journalist Uri Mesgav told Yedioth Ahronoth that "the Prime Minister's wife stood in the street shouting on the phone due to the driver's delay. She then stopped a taxi and tried to leave the area, but her security detail from the General Security Service (Shabak) had to stop the taxi because the action violated security procedures."

He added that after several minutes of confrontation and shouting, the driver arrived and attributed his delay to a traffic accident. However, Sarah Netanyahu did not pay attention to this explanation and got into the car.

The Hebrew newspaper reported that the incident did not end there. At Sarah Netanyahu's request, the Prime Minister's office submitted a strong complaint to the General Security Service (Shabak), demanding an immediate investigation into the event.

The complaint stated that "Sarah Netanyahu's life was exposed to a real danger," describing the incident as a "serious security breach," which compelled Shabak to open an investigation, according to Yedioth Ahronoth.

Sarah Netanyahu's sharp interactions with those around her have sparked widespread controversy in Israel. One employment agency had to pay substantial compensation to a housemaid who worked at the Prime Minister's residence in exchange for dropping a lawsuit. The maid accused Sarah Netanyahu of insulting her and throwing tomatoes and olives at her in front of Prime Minister Netanyahu, as reported by Yedioth Ahronoth.

In her lawsuit, the maid identified as "S" stated: "The Prime Minister's wife looked at the breakfast and angrily reprimanded me, claiming the meal contained too much onion, tomato, and olives, then threw pieces of tomato and olives at me in front of her husband, the Prime Minister."
