Juventus defender Federico Gatti has turned down a move to Turkish side Galatasaray, holding out for a transfer to the English Premier League.

Federico Gatti, the 27-year-old Italian defender for Juventus, has rejected an approach from Turkish club Galatasaray during the current summer transfer window. The player, whose contract with the Turin side runs until June 30, 2030, is instead waiting for an opportunity in the English Premier League.
Italian newspaper Tuttosport reported that Galatasaray made a formal offer for Gatti, but the defender refused it due to his desire to move to England. The report indicates that three Premier League clubs have expressed interest in the player.
According to the report, Galatasaray had been in contact with the Bianconeri defender over recent weeks to explore a potential transfer in the summer of 2026. However, Gatti rejected the principle of playing in the Turkish league and is now awaiting an offer from a Premier League side.
Tuttosport added that Everton has been monitoring the Juventus defender for an extended period. The newspaper also named Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, and Fulham as other clubs tracking Gatti.
The report concluded that Gatti is expected to leave Juventus at the end of the season. His standing among the club's central defenders has declined since Luciano Spalletti took charge of the team. Despite his contract lasting until June 2030, Juventus may demand a fee of €25 million to part ways with the player.
