Harry Kane matched two major scoring records held by Cristiano Ronaldo and Robert Lewandowski despite Bayern Munich's Champions League elimination.

Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane has etched his name alongside two of football's greatest marksmen, matching records set by Cristiano Ronaldo and Robert Lewandowski. The England captain achieved the feat by scoring the equalizer in a 1-1 draw against Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday, a result that eliminated the Bavarian side from the Champions League in the semi-final second leg.
Kane's goal against PSG brought his total for the season across all official competitions for Bayern Munich to 55. That tally equals the highest single-season goal count ever recorded by Robert Lewandowski during his time with the club, a mark the Polish striker set in the 2019/2020 campaign—a season in which Bayern secured a historic treble.
Despite the European exit, Kane's individual contributions have been remarkable. He has maintained a consistent scoring rate in every match, keeping the club competitive across all fronts.
The striker now has a chance to surpass this milestone in the remaining domestic fixtures, including the highly anticipated German Cup final scheduled for May 23.
Kane also made history by scoring in six consecutive Champions League knockout matches. He found the net in all five playoff games he participated in this season, extending a scoring run that began with a goal against Inter Milan in the second leg of last season's quarter-final.
This six-match streak in the knockout stages equals the record set by Cristiano Ronaldo during the 2012-2013 season.
