Real Madrid calls an emergency board meeting, with President Florentino Perez set to speak at 6 PM.

Real Madrid has announced an emergency board meeting for Tuesday afternoon, with President Florentino Perez scheduled to address the media immediately afterward. The club confirmed in an official statement that Perez will appear in the press room at the Real Madrid City training complex at 6:00 PM local time to hold a press conference following the board session.
The meeting comes amid a series of pressing issues facing the club. Chief among them is the search for a new head coach to lead the team starting next season. Multiple media reports indicate that Portuguese manager Jose Mourinho, currently at Benfica, is the leading candidate to replace Alvaro Arbeloa. Mourinho previously managed Real Madrid from 2010 to 2013 and is now being considered for a second stint at the helm.
Perez is also expected to field questions about tensions within the squad's dressing room. Recent incidents include a physical altercation between midfielders Aurelien Tchouameni and Federico Valverde, which reportedly resulted in Valverde being taken to the hospital.
The club has endured a trophy-less season, losing the La Liga title to Barcelona, exiting the Copa del Rey early, and being eliminated from the UEFA Champions League in the quarter-finals.
