The Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Al Nassr Club, issued fiery statements after Al-Alami's victory in the Clasico against Al Ahli, in which he sharply criticized players who excessively complain and attack the arbitration system and officials, considering these actions harmful to the reputation of the Saudi Pro League.

Victory at the Summit.. Al Nassr Decides the "Al-Awwal Park" Battle

Ronaldo led his Al Nassr team to a valuable two-goal victory over their guest Al Ahli, in the summit of Round 30 of the league, strengthening his team's position as runner-up in the standings. "The Don" commented on the technical performance, saying: "It was a very difficult match against one of the best teams. The first half was balanced, but we prevailed in the second and deserved the three points."

"This is Football, Not War".. Ronaldo's Message to Complainers

Away from the green rectangle, Ronaldo (41 years old) expressed his dissatisfaction with the state of tension and exaggeration that precedes and follows major matches, emphasizing the need to maintain the professionalism of the competition.

Highlights of Ronaldo's statements to "Thamanya" channel:

  • Rejection of Chaos: "Everyone complains and exaggerates unacceptably; we are here for sporting combat, not to ignite wars."

  • Criticism of Social Media: "I saw bad things; posts on Instagram and Facebook attacking referees and the project, this harms our goal."

  • Global Role Model: "We want to compete with the best leagues in the world, but this way we won't succeed. We must be a role model here and in Europe."

Promise to Reveal the Hidden at the End of the Season

In a threatening tone reflecting the extent of his dissatisfaction, the Portuguese star affirmed that he would not remain silent for long, stating: "I will speak more extensively at the end of the season, because I have seen many transgressions that do not serve football."

Ronaldo called on all parties to review the approach used in dealing with sports disputes, and to focus on developing the game technically instead of engaging in "media chaos" that distracts from the strength and rising competitiveness of the Saudi League.
