Yamal Not Ready for Full Match Against Saudi Arabia
Spain's Lamine Yamal expressed excitement for the upcoming World Cup match but said he is not yet prepared to play the full 90 minutes.

Lamine Yamal, a player for the Spanish national team, confirmed his enthusiasm for Spain's upcoming match against Saudi Arabia on Sunday, which is the second group stage game of the 2026 World Cup. However, he clarified that he is not yet ready to play the entire 90 minutes.
Yamal appeared as a substitute in Spain's opening group stage match against Cape Verde, which ended in a goalless draw.
In a televised interview, Yamal stated, "I feel very good and extremely excited above all. I have spent a long time away from the field, and I am eager for Sunday's match."
He added, "I feel physically ready for anything the coach wants. I told him I am ready to play, but the decision is his."
When asked if he was prepared to play the full 90 minutes, Yamal responded, "Not yet, I think it is still early."
