Fifteen people were killed and more than 50 injured in a suicide car bombing targeting a mosque gate near a police center in Kohat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, Pakistan.
Pakistan’s authorities confirmed that at least 15 people died and more than 50 others sustained injuries following a suicide car bombing directed at the gate of a mosque adjacent to a police center in northwestern Pakistan.
The blast occurred in the Kohat district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, a region bordering Afghanistan, according to Bilal Faizi, a senior rescue official.
Hospital officials verified that the majority of those injured were worshippers present at the mosque at the time of the explosion.
