The General Command of Bahrain's Defense Force announced on Wednesday that its air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed three ballistic missiles and multiple Iranian drones aimed at civilians and private property within the kingdom.

An official statement emphasized that deliberately targeting civilians and private property with missiles and drones constitutes a blatant violation of international humanitarian law. The statement also noted that Iran continues its systematic hostile approach through these criminal attacks.

The Defense Force underscored that all its units and weaponry remain at the highest state of readiness, reaffirming ongoing vigilance to safeguard the kingdom's airspace and security.

Earlier on Wednesday morning, Bahrain's Ministry of Defense reported that its air defenses repelled Iranian attacks and confirmed that warning sirens were activated in several areas.
