The British Maritime Trade Operations Authority reported on Monday that it received a report of an incident 14 nautical miles west of Saqr Port in the UAE.
The authority added, citing a third party, that one of the ships caught fire, and it requested vessels in its vicinity to maintain a safe distance.
It noted that "the cause of the fire has not yet been verified, and no environmental impacts resulting from the incident have been recorded."
