The Israeli army spokesperson stated: "The Israeli army discovered and destroyed dozens of combat vehicles and infrastructure in the defensive security zone in Syria.

She added on her X platform account: "After three months of activity, the combat team from the 228th Brigade, under the command of the 210th Brigade, completed its mission in the forward defensive security zone in Syria, aimed at eliminating threats to Israel.

She continued: "In recent months, we conducted precise operations, interrogated dozens of suspects, arrested several elements, destroyed infrastructure, and uncovered numerous combat tools, including RPGs, mortar shells, and Kalashnikov rifles." She noted that "in these days, the 228th Combat Team has concluded its fifth reserve period and will be replaced by forces from the 2nd Brigade.

She concluded: "The 210th Brigade forces will continue operating in the area to protect the security of citizens of the State of Israel, particularly those in the Golan Heights.
