Drone strikes cooling tower at Russian nuclear power plant in Kursk

The International Atomic Energy Agency said on Friday it had received information indicating a drone struck a cooling tower at a reactor unit at a Russian nuclear power plant in the Kursk region, early Thursday morning.

The UN-affiliated agency explained that the reactor unit was operating normally at the time of impact and continued functioning normally afterward, noting that the collision did not lead to any fire.
