A drone strike hit a cooling tower at a Russian nuclear power plant in Kursk early Thursday, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency, which confirmed no fire broke out and operations continued normally.
The International Atomic Energy Agency said on Friday it had received information indicating a drone struck a cooling tower at a reactor unit at a Russian nuclear power plant in the Kursk region, early Thursday morning.
The UN-affiliated agency explained that the reactor unit was operating normally at the time of impact and continued functioning normally afterward, noting that the collision did not lead to any fire.
