Dutch intelligence agencies have accused Russian hackers of monitoring military equipment shipments to Kyiv via internet-connected cameras at NATO bases.

Dutch intelligence agencies have accused Russian hackers of spying on military equipment transfers to Kyiv by exploiting internet-connected civilian cameras at NATO bases in Europe and Ukraine.
The Telegraph reported that a joint statement from the Dutch General Intelligence and Security Service and the Military Intelligence and Security Service revealed that Russia had been monitoring NATO military bases through civilian cameras connected to the internet. Hackers reportedly breached these devices to observe the movement of military equipment destined for Ukraine.
The statement claimed that the hackers targeted cameras aimed at military roads in European NATO member states, including the Netherlands, as well as in Ukraine itself.
Moscow has repeatedly stated that Western arms supplies to Ukraine hinder peace efforts and directly involve NATO countries in the conflict. The Kremlin has warned that Western military support for Ukraine has adverse effects on negotiations and will negatively impact the peace process.
