The Yemeni government warned against the use of artificial intelligence technologies to clone the voices of military leaders and fabricate orders aimed at confusing forces.

The Ministry of Defense of the internationally recognized Yemeni government reported detecting attempts by the Houthis to employ AI technologies to clone the voices of military commanders.

This came in an explanatory video published on the "X" platform, where the ministry urged "soldiers and mujahideen to exercise caution."

The statement confirmed that fabricated military orders aim to confuse forces and sow doubt on the battlefield, stressing the necessity of verifying suspicious audio recordings through official channels.

The Ministry of Defense concluded its statement by emphasizing the importance of being alert to disinformation seeking to push forces into making wrong decisions.

Alongside the military escalation witnessed on the Yemeni scene between the Houthis on one side and government forces supported by the Saudi-led coalition on the other, another war emerges on the media landscape, reaching the intervention of religious figures through occasional statements urging the people of Yemen, who are divided between the internationally recognized authority and the Houthi group that has controlled areas in the country in recent weeks.
