Four European Nations Ready to Lift Sanctions on Iran After Trump Agreement
Britain, France, Germany, and Italy have expressed readiness to lift sanctions on Iran following a peace deal between Washington and Tehran.

Early Monday, Britain, France, Germany, and Italy announced their willingness to remove sanctions imposed on Iran in response to actions concerning its nuclear program.
This European stance was outlined in a joint statement issued shortly after the announcement of a peace agreement that ends the war between Washington and Tehran "immediately and permanently."
The leaders of these countries declared, "Iran must never obtain a nuclear weapon. We are prepared to work with America, Iran, and the International Atomic Energy Agency to achieve this goal."
Both Britain and France confirmed their readiness to provide support in clearing mines that Iran planted in the Strait of Hormuz, through a mutually agreed approach.
French President Emmanuel Macron announced that the Group of Seven summit on Monday will discuss the long-term reopening of the Strait of Hormuz under the US-Iran agreement.
Meanwhile, British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and Foreign Secretary Yvette Cooper strongly welcomed the agreement announced between the United States and Iran.
Starmer described the deal as "a critically important step toward ending the war, ensuring regional stability, and reopening the Strait of Hormuz."
