The International Criminal Court has suspended Prosecutor Karim Khan pending a vote by member states following a sexual misconduct investigation.

The International Criminal Court's (ICC) Assembly of States Parties announced on Monday the suspension of Prosecutor Karim Khan's duties until the member states decide his fate through a vote. This decision follows an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct against him.
A diplomatic source informed Reuters that the Assembly's executive office concluded Khan committed a serious breach after an 18-month investigation into accusations that he engaged in non-consensual sexual relations with a lawyer in his office.
Khan has consistently denied these allegations. The Assembly will distribute its findings to all 125 member states of the ICC, which are expected to vote later on the possibility of removing him from his position.
Separately, former US President Donald Trump announced that a report on a helicopter crash near the Strait of Hormuz will be released today.
In another development, Trump reportedly used a "kill switch" to disrupt the digital activities of an ICC judge.
