The Israeli army announced the killing of Hamas's financial transfers chief and his deputy in a joint operation in northern Gaza.

The Israeli military declared on Wednesday that it, along with the Shin Bet security service, successfully eliminated the head of Hamas's financial transfer system and his deputy in the Gaza Strip.
According to a military statement, the attack took place on Sunday in northern Gaza, resulting in the deaths of Khader Al-Jammassi, the chief of the financial transfer system, and his deputy, Mohammed Al-Harazin. Both were identified as the primary facilitators of funds for Hamas within the Gaza Strip.
The statement detailed that during the ongoing conflict, Al-Jammassi and Al-Harazin managed the transfer of tens of millions of dollars to Hamas's military wing in Gaza. They operated through a network that included dozens of money changers across the territory.
These funds were used by Hamas to continue paying salaries to its members, enabling the group to persist in planning and executing terrorist operations against the Israel Defense Forces and Israeli civilians, the statement added.
The military statement further noted that the two individuals join a series of targeted killings of militants responsible for Hamas's economic activities, including the elimination of leaders Firas Mashharawi and Ihab Karizim.
