Israeli Channel 13: Hamas rebuilds its military capabilities in Gaza

Israeli Channel 13 revealed that Israeli security assessments indicate that Hamas continues to rebuild its military capabilities inside Gaza, despite the ongoing Israeli war on the Strip.

According to the channel, a document was recently presented to the political level in Israel stating that Hamas is working on producing hundreds of explosive devices, mortar shells, and anti-tank rockets on a monthly basis, in addition to carrying out intelligence gathering operations and monitoring the movements of occupation army forces inside Gaza.

The report added that the movement also continues to conduct field training inside the Strip, despite the Israeli military presence, as part of what Israeli assessments described as an attempt to "develop combat operational capabilities" and improve readiness for any future Israeli incursion or military operation.

According to Channel 13, the Israeli security establishment believes that these moves may give Hamas a "qualitative leap" in the level of military performance, especially regarding managing field confrontations and dealing with any new ground maneuver that the Israeli army might carry out in Gaza.
