Mohammed Ali al-Houthi: We Have Many Military Surprises and Our Capabilities Are Evolving as the War Continues

Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, a member of the Supreme Political Council in Yemen, spoke about the existence of "many surprises" held by Houthi-affiliated forces, referring to military capabilities he said are evolving with the continuation of the war.

Al-Houthi, in remarks broadcast by Al-Masirah channel, stated that the continuation of the war and blockade would lead, according to his assessment, to an increase and development of Yemenis' capabilities in various fields, adding that the armed forces have "many surprises."

Al-Houthi linked the continuation of military operations with developments in defensive and manufacturing capabilities, stating that the armed forces and security agencies will continue to perform their duties, and that the experiences accumulated during years of war contributed, in his words, to strengthening their capabilities and developing their potential.

The Yemeni official did not clarify whether the "surprises" he mentioned relate to new weapons or military technologies, or to expanding the scope of operational capabilities, nor did he specify whether these developments were intended to be announced in the near future.
