On Mojtaba Khamenei's Orders: Iranian Escalation Expands Threat Radius to Europe
Iranian media claims that US, Israeli, and NATO assets in Europe are now within range of precision missiles, following directives from Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei.

The "Kayhan" newspaper, which speaks for the Iranian regime, claimed that American and Israeli facilities and interests, as well as North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) bases extending into the European heartland, have come entirely within the range of Iran's precision missiles.
The newspaper reported directives issued by Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei calling for the removal of all restrictions and geographical boundaries on the military target bank. It emphasized that targeting plans and missile responses are no longer confined to the regional scope of US Central Command (CENTCOM) bases in the Middle East but have become open to direct targeting of allied interests in Europe.
These Iranian threats coincide with decisive hours in the US Congressional midterm elections, a timing Tehran seeks to use to confuse political cards in Washington and pressure President Donald Trump's administration.
The aim of these messages is to demonstrate that the cost of escalation will not remain confined to the Middle East theater or energy markets in the Strait of Hormuz, but may roll into a direct confrontation threatening Washington's NATO allies.
In earlier statements today, Tuesday, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian considered that resuming fighting between the United States and Iran would not be in anyone's interest, amid intense diplomatic efforts to avoid a new round of escalation in the Middle East, according to "AFP".
Pezeshkian said during a government meeting that "no one will benefit from this war," pointing to work on resolving the conflict "through dialogue."
He reaffirmed that Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei granted the government powers to discuss "issues it previously considered taboo," without providing further details.
