The Iranian Foreign Ministry announced that Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei received a message from Pakistan's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, which was delivered by Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi during his visit to Tehran.

On Monday, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei stated, "Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei received the message from the Pakistani Prime Minister."

Baghaei added that the visit of the Pakistani Interior Minister was part of Islamabad's role as a mediator in ongoing negotiations, emphasizing that Pakistan "takes this role seriously."

During his visit, the Pakistani minister carried an official message from Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, which was handed over to the Iranian leadership.

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi confirmed on Sunday that he had received the message while meeting with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

In a joint press conference with Iranian counterpart Eskandar Moameni, Naqvi described the message as "important and sensitive," without revealing further details.
