Russia Intercepts 339 Ukrainian Drones Across 13 Regions Including Moscow
Russian air defense units intercepted and destroyed 339 Ukrainian drones over 13 hours across 13 regions, including Moscow, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.

The Russian Defense Ministry announced on Saturday that its air defense units intercepted and destroyed 339 Ukrainian drones within a 13-hour period across various regions, including Moscow.
According to a statement posted on Telegram by the ministry, the interceptions occurred between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. local time (0400-1700 GMT) over 13 different regions as well as areas above the Black Sea.
The list of affected areas provided by the Defense Ministry included several regions in central Russia and extended to the Leningrad and Pskov regions in the northwest of the country.
Sergei Sobyanin, the mayor of Moscow, issued a series of announcements on Telegram outlining the countermeasures taken against the drone attacks.
An unofficial tally indicated that 14 drones were shot down throughout Saturday. In response, the Russian Civil Aviation Authority suspended flights to several airports.
Russian news agencies reported that four separate flight suspension orders were issued at different times on Saturday for the city of Sochi, located on the Black Sea coast.
Additionally, Moscow declared the downing of 163 Ukrainian drones during the nighttime hours.
