Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov affirmed Moscow's commitment to the political agreements reached with Donald Trump on Ukraine during last August's Alaska summit.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated on Wednesday that Moscow remains committed to the understandings reached between President Vladimir Putin and then-US President Donald Trump during their Alaska summit in August of the previous year.
Lavrov told Reuters that Russia is not prepared to make any further temporary decisions nor yield to any final ultimatums.
Russian officials frequently refer to the so-called "Anchorage spirit," a term analysts interpret as Moscow's concept of a potential agreement involving the withdrawal of Ukrainian forces from the remaining parts of Donbas that Ukraine has not controlled, in exchange for Russia freezing combat lines on other fronts.
Lavrov emphasized that there is no difference between US Presidents Joe Biden and Donald Trump regarding the Ukraine issue.
Meanwhile, Kyiv has repeatedly asserted that it will not cede any of its territory to Russia.
Lavrov added, "In August last year, the leaders of Russia and the United States reached several understandings on political ways to resolve the Ukrainian crisis. We remain committed to these understandings."
