A Sudanese alliance led by the Rapid Support Forces says a drone strike by Port Sudan forces killed 15 people and wounded others on a civilian truck in South Kordofan.

A civilian truck traveling in South Kordofan state was struck by a drone, killing 15 people and leaving others wounded, according to the Sudan Founding Alliance, a coalition led by the Rapid Support Forces. The alliance issued a statement on Saturday accusing the forces loyal to Port Sudan of carrying out the attack.
The vehicle was en route from the village of Khami to the city of Abu Zabad, carrying 37 civilians, the alliance said in its statement. "A drone belonging to the criminal Port Sudan forces targeted a civilian truck on the public road today," the statement read, adding that rescue operations were still ongoing.
The alliance described the strike as part of a "systematic policy" executed by what it called the "terrorist Muslim Brotherhood group through its military arm," alleging repeated and deliberate targeting of unarmed civilians and civilian infrastructure. The statement further accused the forces of trying to "spread terror and terrorism among citizens and expand the circle of war and chaos inside the country."
"The criminal terrorist drones of the Port Sudan forces continue to target unarmed civilians under a hateful racist doctrine practiced by the terrorist group, its criminal army, and allied militias," the alliance added.
In its statement, the alliance affirmed its commitment to the unity of Sudan and the protection of Sudanese lives, calling on all Sudanese to be wary of what it termed "hateful, racist, satanic schemes."
