Trump Confirms Death of Second-in-Command of Global ISIS
US and Nigerian forces killed Abu Bilal al-Manki, the global ISIS deputy, in a complex operation ordered by President Trump.

The second-highest-ranking figure in the global Islamic State (ISIS) network, Abu Bilal al-Manki, has been eliminated in a joint operation by US and Nigerian forces. President Donald Trump announced the death on Saturday, confirming the mission was carried out with the assistance of the Nigerian government.
Trump stated on his Truth Social platform that the operation was executed overnight under his direct orders, describing it as "highly complex and precisely planned." He referred to the target as the "most dangerous terrorist" on the battlefield.
According to Trump, Abu Bilal al-Manki, the global deputy of ISIS, "thought he could hide in Africa, but he did not know there were sources tracking his movements." The president added, "He will no longer terrorize the peoples of Africa, and he will no longer help plan operations targeting Americans."
The elimination of al-Manki has resulted in a significant reduction in ISIS global operations, Trump asserted.
