Two Airlines Cancel Flights to Israel Amid Regional Tensions with Iran
Austria Airlines and ITA Airways have suspended morning flights to Israel due to rising regional tensions involving Iran.

Two airlines affiliated with the German Lufthansa Group—Austrian Airlines and ITA Airways—have canceled their morning flights to Israel amid concerns over escalating regional tensions linked to the confrontation with Iran, according to Channel 12 in Israel.
This suspension of flights occurs amid heightened security vigilance in the region, as the ongoing escalation between Israel and Iran raises worries about the safety of air navigation and the potential expansion of the conflict.
The decision comes at a time when European airlines are closely monitoring security developments in the Middle East, amid fears that any further escalation could result in additional restrictions on air traffic to and from Israel.
Separately, the U.S. Embassy in Israel has issued a warning to American citizens against traveling to the Middle East.
