Yemeni Armed Forces Strike Houthi Targets Across Al-Mokha and Al-Dhahab
The Yemeni Armed Forces conducted surprise air raids on five Houthi locations in Al-Mokha and Al-Dhahab, destroying vehicles and weapons and killing multiple militia members, according to official military statements.
The Yemeni Armed Forces announced the outcomes of a series of aerial strikes targeting Houthi militia positions, troop concentrations, and military vehicles in Al-Mokha and Al-Dhahab on the western coast. The operations reportedly destroyed armored vehicles, weapons systems, and resulted in casualties among Houthi fighters across multiple sites.
Targeted Locations in Al-Mokha City
Maj. Gen. Majid Abdullah Al-Nazili, the official spokesperson for the Yemeni Armed Forces, stated that the airstrikes hit Houthi gatherings and movements within Al-Mokha city, its surrounding areas, and along the road linking Al-Mokha to Al-Dhahab.
According to the Armed Forces’ official statement, one strike fully destroyed vehicles and weapons near Al-Mokha port while simultaneously engaging Houthi personnel in that vicinity. A separate raid targeted a Houthi concentration near the “Zaid Al-Khuruj” mall in Al-Mokha.
Additional strikes struck Houthi elements adjacent to the Water Project Administration office in Al-Mokha, as part of the broader campaign across dispersed locations in the area.
Operations Along the Al-Mokha–Al-Dhahab Road
Aerial operations extended to the highway connecting Al-Mokha and Al-Dhahab. Forces targeted Houthi vehicle convoys and personnel concentrations at the “Al-Mahjar Al-Hayawani” (Animal Quarantine) site, located approximately 11 kilometers from Al-Mokha city.
The military spokesperson also confirmed an airstrike on a Houthi gathering inside a former military commander’s headquarters situated in the northern ring road district of Al-Mokha.
Escalation on the Western Coast Frontline
These strikes form part of ongoing military operations across the western coast frontlines, focusing on Houthi troop movements, assembly points, and deployment locations in the environs of Al-Mokha and Al-Dhahab.
