Salah Becomes Father of Three with Birth of Son “Lil”

Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, captain of the Egypt national team and forward for Liverpool Football Club, has become a father for the third time following the birth of his first son.

Name revealed by sister on social media

Rabab Salah, the player’s sister, announced the newborn’s name on her social media account, stating that the family had chosen “Lil” as his given name.

In her message, she congratulated her brother and wrote: “Beloved of his aunt’s heart, light of the world—Lil Mohamed Salah.” The post confirmed the name and drew widespread attention from Salah’s global fanbase.

Family composition now includes three children

With the arrival of Lil, Salah is now the father of three children. His two elder daughters are Mecca, born in 2014, and Kayan, born in 2020. Lil is his first son and youngest child.

News confirmed earlier by Trabzonspor president

The birth was first reported publicly by Erdal Döğan, president of Turkish club Trabzonspor, following his team’s match against Amed Spor.

Döğan stated he had travelled with several players—including André Onana and Mohamed Salah—after the game and noted that both received joyful news about new births.

He clarified that Onana had welcomed twins, while Salah had become the father of a baby boy, extending congratulations to both players and their families.
