Army Command Issues Statement to Fugitive and Dismissed Military Personnel
The Lebanese Army Command issued a statement urging fugitive and dismissed military personnel to complete legal procedures at the Permanent Military Court.

The Army Command – Guidance Directorate, invoking Article 24 of the Military Justice Law regarding the referral of deserters, whether inside or outside the country, to the Permanent Military Court, called upon all military personnel who have deserted or been dismissed due to desertion and who have not previously settled their judicial status, to initiate the completion of necessary legal procedures at the Permanent Military Court in accordance with prevailing regulations.
The Command affirmed in a statement that "the issuance of a dismissal decision, obtaining a dismissal document, and clearance certificate do not imply the settlement of the judicial status arising from desertion, nor do they substitute for completing the required legal procedures before the Permanent Military Court."
It drew the attention of those concerned to "the necessity of adhering to the content of this circular, to avoid the legal consequences that may result from failing to settle their status."
It added: "Accordingly, this circular is considered a notification and warning to all concerned parties. The Army Command invites them to contact the Permanent Military Court via the 'Whatsapp' application, exclusively through text messages, at number 81/907464, to inquire about the procedures to be followed and the required documents, which are:
An official document proving personal identity (passport, individual civil status extract, or driver's license).
A service dismissal document.
A clearance certificate, if available.
Note that the absence of a clearance certificate does not constitute an obstacle to initiating the procedures for settling the judicial status."
